Notes for Angelina Unknown:
Allison Stand Inn was owned by the tax collector's father, James Isbell, and step-mother, Angeline Allison Isbell, who was the remarried widow of the inn's former proprietor, Joseph Allison. Located at the corner of the Nashville road, now Highway 70, and the old Sparta road, the inn stood about two to three miles from Jim Brassell's home near what is now the Double Springs community, and it provided food and shelter for travelers passing through the area.
