Philip Moore Carden

World War II

Phil Carden served as a Radioman in Army Air Corps (became Air Force) from 1942-45. He served in the European Theater (Azores and England) from 1943-45.
We call what he did "Air Traffic Controller" now.

 Army's Signal Intelligence was a part of the Signal Intelligence Command of the Army gathering radio intelligence to help win the war.  This was the precursor to the United States Air Force Security Service?

I am not sure about this information.
