As I typed these for the web page I tried to enter them the way they were orginally written. The old handwritting was hard to read. It looked as if there were several different people entering the information into the Bible through the years. There were several different styles of handwriting. There were 6 pages. I apologize if I misentered any information.

Benjamin Isbell Family Bible

Benjamin Isbell, the owner of this book and recorder of the forgoing biths and deaths, departed this life on the 23rd of July 1870, having lived to the mature age of eighty four years, nine months and four days.

His remains were interned beside those of his companion Martha Isbell and two infant children on his farm near Mount Harmony, Tennessee McMinn Co?.
