He was a school master both bf/ & after the WBTS.  In this picture he’s in front of the school w/ his students & faculty in Randolph, Bibb Co, AL. The time frame is late 1870’s- early 1880’s. Looks like the little girl standing next to W.W. CARDEN might’ve been blind. See the glasses?
W.W. Carden  was the 2Gr –G. Father of Glenda E. Blackerby of Shelby Co, AL.   W.W. Carden was in the same unit – 3rd AL Reserves, CSA – w/ my FANCHER 2Gr.-G.father. Later Thornton FANCHER’s dau. mar. my Gt-G.father William C.CARDEN.
