Stratton Burton Foy
(1815 - 1849)

Stratton Burton Foy was born Onslow Co. 3-10-1815 and died Onslow Co. of Typhoid Fever 11-14-1849. It seems he was sick for 15 days before he passed.
He married 1-4-1838 to Rebecca Ward b. 1821, daughter of Henry Ward. After Stratton's death she married 8-14-1851 to Henry H. Sandlin according to 1860 Census Rebecca Ward 39, Henry H. Sandlin 35, child Eliza Jane Foy 15

Children of Stratton and Rebecca are:

Stratton owned a large farm in Lower Southwest District where he raised corn, flax, and rice. He was a Justice of the Peace for a few years and was a Patroller and Poll Holder in his district.
