Miles Foy (1811 - 1895)

Miles Foy, born to Enoch Foy and Annapolis "Applis" Sanderson May 21, 1811 in Jones Co., NC.
He left Jones Co. at the age of 18 as an ordained minister, traveled North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and settled in Surry County in the 1880's where he died in 1895.

Miles Foy married at least three times.

There was at least one child from his second marriage:

• William Graves Foy, who served during the Civil War as a captain.

Miles Foy married Selena Frances Hill Nelson on Jan 31, 1860. Selena was his third wife.

Miles and Selena had only one child:

• Edward Crawford Foy.
