Examples of 600, 400 and 200 year old English to show how language changes over time. All languages do this. Greek is no exception. If you learn Koine Greek (the Greek of the New Testament) you should be able to work with the Greek of the Septuguint and the early Church fathers easily but you will probably not be able to read Classical Greek (Socarates, Plato, the Illiad, the Odyssey, etc.) or the Modern Greek used in Greece today very well.
KJV vs. the others King James Version is compared to modern English versions, particularly the New International Version.
