We are using FaceBook to study the Bible as a group. Right now we are taking one Bible book at a time. Usually the most you will ever have to read is 3 chapters a day, and much of the time less than that. If the book is longer than 21 chapters we will spend two weeks on it. If it is longer than 42 chapters we spend three weeks on it. We will always take at least a week.
Please feel free to answer and discuss the thought questions you find posted here at any time. The idea is to have an ongoing discussion about the book of the week all week long. Please keep your comments focused on the book of the week during that week. If you want to discuss other matters Facebook has many other channels of communication available. Please use them instead of this group.
Many of folks in this group like to meet on Facebook and use the chat feature to talk about the book in real time on Wednesday night at 8:00 PM Central. Attendance is not mandatory. Your comments are welcome at anytime. Feel free to chat with whoever you find here at anytime. Also, feel free to invite people to gather here for a real time discussion using the chat at any time convenient. Be sure to make everyone in the group your friend so that you can see everything that is posted in the group.
Everyone has a different amount of time to devote to this. Some people will read the Bible book carefully and answer all the questions in depth. Others will glance at a few favorite passages and make a quick pass over the postings. Most will fall somewhere in between. All are welcome. All have something valuable to contribute. Everyone has something to learn.
